Current University of Alabama Policy forbids Students (who have had a background check, etc per Code of Alabama §13A-11-75) from carrying concealed weapons. 
With all due respect, how did that work for ya?

In this article, the University of Alabama tries to lead law-abiding citizens to believe they are not permitted to carry on campus.

It mentions things which are true, such as prohibition of carry in a mental health facility. However, the article seems to go out of its way to fail to mention when CCW is otherwise legal.
